If you were a Gen X kid, then there is a good chance Heroes of Might and Magic III was responsible for more than a few late nights. Telling yourself “one more turn”, only to realised hours have swept passed you. Now, Ubisoft is bringing the strategy classic back with a full remake.
Announced during Gamescom Opening Night Live, Heroes of Might and Magic III Remake will arrive in 2027 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game is being rebuilt from the ground up using Ubisoft’s Snowdrop engine, and will replace the original’s fixed 2D isometric view with a fully 3D world, free camera controls, 4K graphics, dynamic lighting, changing seasons and even real-time weather.
