SINGAPORE – Two people were taken to hospital after one of two accidents occurred near the same road junction in Tampines over the weekend.
The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were alerted to the first accident at the junction of Tampines Street 84 and Tampines Street 85, at about 8.40am on Aug 22. The accident involved three cars, the police said.
A 60-year-old male car driver and his 33-year-old female passenger were taken conscious to Changi General Hospital.
On Aug 23, the police and SCDF were alerted to a separate incident involving two cars at the junction of Tampines Street 85 and Tampines Avenue 8, at about 2.40pm.
Two people were assessed for minor injuries and declined to be taken to hospital, SCDF said.
