Singapore places two universities in the global top 10 for engineering and technology in the 2026 QS World University Rankings by Subject.
The National University of Singapore (NUS) ranked eighth, rising four places from last year, while Nanyang Technological University (NTU) placed 10th, up from 11th.
The QS rankings evaluate universities based on five indicators, including academic and employer reputation, citations per paper, research productivity and impact, and international research collaboration.
The 2026 edition assessed more than 21,000 academic programs from 1,912 institutions across 100 countries and territories.
