A badly damaged Singapore flag has prompted a member of the public to remind others to be mindful when displaying the National Flag.
Stomper Steven Yong spotted the flag at around 4pm on Aug 16 while he was parking his car at Tai Thong Crescent.
In a short video sent to Stomp, more than half of the flag appears to be badly damaged, leaving only a small strip of red and white fabric visible.
Steven described the sight as “disrespectful to my country”.
He shared what he saw to encourage others to be mindful of the condition of Singapore’s National Flag when displaying it.
