Casetify has unveiled a range of cases and screen protectors for the Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra and Flip8.
The centrepiece of the new range is the Impact Magnetic Case, which introduces Casetify’s first smooth-gliding hinge cover. It is designed to encase the hinge without getting in the way when the phone is opened or closed, while its EcoShock material and raised bezels provide drop protection from heights of up to 1.2m. The case also supports wireless charging and magnetic accessories.
That lack of added bulk is key for the new Fold8. As I noted in my recent feature, Samsung’s new foldable is lighter, wider and much easier to carry than the Fold8 Ultra. It can even fit comfortably into most pockets. The last thing it needs, then, is an oversized case undoing much of what makes its new shape appealing.
