Diablo 4 Season 15 will receive a new character Rebirth feature–one that will allow players to convert Eternal Realm characters into seasonal ones.
Usually, it goes the opposite way. Characters at the end of a season are automatically converted into non-seasonal Eternal Realm ones, where they typically languish in neglect until they need to be deleted to make room for new seasonal characters.Â
As part of the newly detailed Season 15, developer Blizzard will instead let players continue to play the same character by using the Rebirth function to transfer Eternal Realm characters to the seasonal realm. That character’s level will be reset to level one, but their total playtime will remain intact, as will their class, name, appearance, and cosmetic preferences, including their selected pets, transmogs, mounts, portals, and headstones.
