These are the 16 new Apple products expected to launch later this year

Leading the charge will be the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Joining them is Apple’s long-awaited first foldable iPhone, which is tipped to adopt a wider, book-style design with a nearly invisible display crease.

In contrast, the standard iPhone 18 and iPhone 18 Plus are expected to miss this year’s launch window. Multiple reports suggest Apple will push the launch of its mainstream iPhone models to early 2027 as part of a new staggered release strategy.

iPad

Apple is believed to be preparing an updated entry-level iPad with a newer chipset, alongside a refreshed iPad mini that could finally make the switch to an OLED display. While neither device is expected to receive a major redesign, the display upgrade would represent one of the biggest improvements to the iPad mini since its current-generation model debuted.

Mac

Mac users have plenty to look forward to before the year is out.

Apple is expected to refresh the Mac Studio, Mac mini, and iMac with M5-series processors. The 14-inch MacBook Pro is also rumoured to receive an upgrade with the next-generation M6 chip.

There could even be one surprise announcement for Mac users. Apple is reportedly exploring a premium MacBook Ultra featuring an OLED touchscreen, a thinner chassis, and a Dynamic Island-inspired display cutout. If unveiled, it would represent one of the biggest design changes to the MacBook lineup in years.

Apple Watch

Reports indicate that Apple is saving a major Apple Watch redesign for next year, making substantial hardware changes to the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 unlikely. That theory is further supported by the lack of credible leaked renders, which is a rarity for Apple hardware this close to launch.

New HomePod and rumoured smart home hub

Apple’s smart home ambitions could finally take centre stage later this year.

With the long-awaited rollout of the new Siri AI expected this fall, Apple is believed to be preparing a new generation of smart home hardware designed to showcase its more capable voice assistant.

The lineup is rumoured to include an updated Apple TV powered by the A17 Pro chip with Apple’s new N1 networking chip and Wi-Fi 7 support, a refreshed HomePod mini powered by the S9 chip or newer, an all-new full-sized HomePod, and the company’s highly anticipated smart home hub, which is expected to serve as the central control point for HomeKit, Apple Intelligence, and connected accessories.

If the rumours prove accurate, Apple is in for one of its busiest product launch seasons ever. As for this Apple fanboy, the only thing getting refreshed more often than Apple’s product lineup will be my credit card statements.
