Samsung’s cryptic AI-powered Health teaser hints at a more accurate, longer-lasting Galaxy Watch

Do nothing, get health readings?

First is the consistent wearing of “the new Galaxy Watch” that brings about a “whole new level” of effortless wellness. This suggests that Samsung might have found a better way to translate dry metrics detected on the Galaxy Watch into actionable health insights, possibly due to new developments, discoveries, or a more user-friendly interface.

It’s also possible that its previous success with “sleep animals” for sleep coaching and tracking might have led to other ways to better convey user wellness. This also coincides with a previous update that streamlines the interface into four “vitals”.

Second, Samsung said that the new smartwatches feature “all-new internal components and enhanced battery life”, which means they’re supposed to be even more accurate and last longer between each charge, while still managing to provide all the above.

Being proactive to get preventive for better wellness

The teaser also mentioned that health management via Galaxy Watch will be more proactive, which we interpret as preventive predictions based on how you previously performed (via onboard sensors). This, in turn, helps to mitigate potential health pitfalls or injuries during your active waking hours. Unfortunately, it’s far too light on details for us to guess which aspects of your health Samsung can predict this way.
