Singapore Airlines adds Pelago discount to KrisFlyer Milestone Rewards

Singapore Airlines has enhanced its KrisFlyer Milestone Rewards benefits, adding a 40% Pelago discount voucher to the entry-level reward tier unlocked at just 1,000 Elite miles accrued during the year.

The voucher sits alongside the existing 1,000 bonus KrisFlyer miles on your next Scoot flight, rather than replacing it, so members reaching the first milestone of the calendar year now receive two rewards instead of one.

That takes the total number of KrisFlyer Milestone Rewards to 11, spread across the same 10 Elite miles thresholds.

The new Pelago discount

The reward is a 40% discount on attractions, tours or transport bookings worldwide with Pelago, the Singapore Airlines Group’s experiences platform.

There is no minimum spend, and no product exclusions apply, but the discount is capped at S$20.

Here’s how it fits in the chocolate wheel of benefits you’ll unlock as you accrue Elite miles during your KrisFlyer calendar year.

The discount is capped at S$20, so the sweet spot is a booking of around S$50. To use the reward, log in to your KrisFlyer account on Pelago.com or in the Pelago app. It applies to regular-priced products only and can be used once, by the recipient of the reward. Unusually, this reward is valid for only three months from the date of issue.
2,500	20% Discount Voucher on Scoot
	Receive a 20% Discount Voucher off your next Scoot booking on selected fare types (applicable to base fare only). Blackout periods apply and the principal KrisFlyer member must be travelling on the booking. Click here to find out how you can redeem your voucher.
5,000	1,000 KrisPay miles (S$10)
	This reward must be claimed within 12 months of earning 5,000 Elite miles on flights operated by Singapore Airlines and/or Scoot. As usual with Kris+, these miles are valid for 6 months and are not transferable to KrisFlyer miles.
10,000	S$20 KrisShop Promo Code
	Receive a promo code for S$20 off a minimum spend of S$50 on KrisShop.com, down from a S$150 minimum previously. A lengthy brand exclusion list still applies, and the promo code is not valid for purchases made inflight or via the KrisShop order form, nor can it be stacked with other KrisFlyer Milestone KrisShop rewards or PPS Club KrisShop vouchers. Show More The promo code is valid for 12 months and can only be used once.
20,000	25% Bonus KrisFlyer Miles
	Receive a reward to earn 25% more KrisFlyer miles on top of the actual miles earned for a single flight segment. The reward is valid for 12 months and can be applied before your flight departure or or on a past booking up to seven days ago. Only one Bonus KrisFlyer Miles reward may be used for one flight segment, and it can only be used by the principal member. If you have mixed KrisFlyer miles and cash to purchase your ticket, the bonus KrisFlyer miles will only be awarded on the amount paid for by cash. That means that any tier bonus or any amount redeemed by KrisFlyer miles are excluded from the calculation.

	Receive a reward to earn 50% more KrisFlyer miles on top of the actual miles earned for a single flight segment. The reward is valid for 12 months and can be applied before your flight departure or or on a past booking up to seven days ago. 40,000	5,000 KrisFlyer Miles Redemption Discount
	Receive a reward for a redemption discount of 5,000 KrisFlyer miles when you are redeeming your KrisFlyer miles for an award ticket or a redemption upgrade. Valid for 12 months from the date of issue for redemption bookings (excluding HighFlyer bookings) or for redemption upgrades on eligible flights operated by Singapore Airlines. The reward can be used by the principal member or for their redemption nominee. If your booking is refunded, the discount will be credited back to your KrisFlyer account if it remains valid.
60,000	Double KrisFlyer Miles Reward
	Receive a voucher which allows the principal member to earn twice the usual KrisFlyer miles for a single flight segment. This can be applied before your flight departure, or on a past booking up to seven days ago. If you used KrisFlyer miles to offset any cash element of your booking then you’ll only receive double KrisFlyer miles in relation to the amount you paid in cash.
75,000	Short-haul advance upgrade
	Receive an advance upgrade voucher for a one cabin class upgrade for you or a redemption nominee (subject to availability) on a single flight segment for flights between Zone 1 & Zone 2, between Zone 1 & Zone 3, or within Zone 11. Flights within Zone 11 currently include SIA’s “fifth freedom” Milan – Barcelona flights. The single cabin class upgrade is valid: From Economy to Premium Economy (if fitted) From Economy to Business (if PY is not fitted) From Premium Economy to Business From Business to First (if fitted) The upgrade is valid for commercial tickets (not award flights) booked under anything except the ‘Value’, ‘Lite’ and ‘Group’ fare buckets (i.e. excluding D in Business Class, R in Premium Economy and K, N, Q, V or G in Economy).
100,000	Premium Economy Advance Upgrade
	Receive an advance upgrade voucher for an upgrade from Economy to Premium Economy (subject to availability) on a single flight segment, for you or your redemption nominee. Valid for commercial tickets booked under anything except the Value, Lite and Group fare buckets (i.e. only valid for bookings under B, E, H, M, W, Y). Your flight must have Economy (obviously) and Premium Economy installed in order to use this voucher (A350 LH, A380 or 777-300ER only). There is no upgrade to Business Class on aircraft without a PY cabin.

To use it, log in to your KrisFlyer account on Pelago.com or in the Pelago app. The voucher applies to regular-priced products only, can be used once, and only by the member who received it.

Singapore Airlines says the reward is being progressively credited to eligible members’ accounts, so don’t be alarmed if it hasn’t appeared in yours yet, even at the KrisFlyer account portal.

Some catches

There are two important terms to understand with this Milestone Reward.

Firstly, the voucher is valid for only three months from the date of issue. That is comfortably the shortest validity of any KrisFlyer Milestone Reward, every other reward except the KrisPay miles (six months) runs for a full 12 months.

Nonetheless, Milestone Rewards can generally be extended by three months, even though this isn’t an official benefit, and there’s no reason to suspect this one will be any exception.

Secondly, the S$20 cap is the limiting factor here.

Any booking of around S$50 or less earns a true 40% discount, extracting the full value of the reward. Spend more than that and the effective saving falls away sharply, since the discount is still capped at S$20.

There are a couple of smaller restrictions too.

The voucher cannot be combined with other Pelago promotions, offers or privileges unless stated, and any portion of a booking offset using the voucher will not earn KrisFlyer miles, Elite miles or PPS Value, so the discounted element won’t feed back into your Milestone Rewards tracking.

If your purchase is fully refunded, the voucher is credited back to your account, provided it is still within its (rather narrow) validity period.

Our view

This is a modest but sensible addition, and it completes the KrisFlyer ‘set’.

Since September 2025, KrisFlyer members have been able to earn Elite miles through on-ground spend with Kris+, KrisShop and Pelago.

Two of those three already had a corresponding Milestone Reward – 1,000 KrisPay miles at 5,000 Elite miles, and a S$20 KrisShop promo code at 10,000 Elite miles. Pelago was the odd one out, and now it isn’t.

None of this is surprising given how hard Singapore Airlines has been pushing Pelago in recent years.

The platform is the airline’s own Klook-style portal for experiences and activities, and it has been marketed aggressively, with regular bonus miles offers and generous discount codes – even to the point that KrisFlyer shelved its miles-earning partnerships with Klook and KKday back in mid-2023 to focus squarely on Pelago.

Having a Milestone Reward pegged to the platform is therefore a natural step.

The value on offer is hardly transformative, and the three-month clock is meaner than it needs to be for a reward likely tied to a leisure booking many members won’t be making imminently. But with no minimum spend and no product exclusions, it is realistically useful, which is perhaps more than can be said for some of the rewards further up the ladder.

It is also the second useful tweak to the scheme in recent months, following the reduction of the KrisShop promo code minimum spend from S$150 to S$50, which made that reward significantly more attractive than before.
