Google Pixel 11 and Watch 5 event set for August

Leading the announcements will likely be the Pixel 11 family, comprising the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Recent leaks suggest Google is taking an evolutionary approach to the design, with slimmer display bezels and a subtly refined camera bar rather than a complete redesign.

Google is also widely expected to unveil the Pixel Watch 5. The smartwatch made headlines recently after a purported unit surfaced in one of the most unusual leaks in recent memory – a scuba diver reportedly discovered the unreleased wearable off the coast of Saint Martin.

The Made by Google event also comes in the midst of what is surely going to be one of the busiest periods of the year for the consumer tech industry. Samsung is expected to hold its Galaxy Unpacked event on 22 July, while Apple is widely tipped to hold an event in early September. With all three companies preparing major product launches within weeks of one another, this third quarter is shaping up to be packed with exciting flagship devices.
