Premier Li Qiang arrived in Singapore on Saturday for an official visit at the invitation of Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.
Li highlighted the positive momentum in China-Singapore relations over the past 35 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties. He emphasized the deepening political trust, practical cooperation, and closer people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, which have set a model for mutual learning and win-win cooperation.
He noted that under the strategic leadership of President Xi Jinping and Singapore’s leaders, bilateral relations have progressed further in recent years. Since the formation of the all-around high-quality future-oriented partnership, China and Singapore have strengthened cooperation across various sectors, benefiting both nations and contributing positively to regional peace and development.
