G-Shock and global group XG team up for their first watch collaboration

Casio is teaming up with the “X-pop” group XG for its latest G-Shock collaboration, with two limited-edition watches set to launch in Singapore on 12 June.

This marks the first time the watch brand has partnered with XG, the seven-member group best known for hits like Shooting Star and Left Right. The collection comprises two models, the GM-S5600XG and GMA-S110XG, with each drawing inspiration from different aspects of the group’s visuals

First, there’s the GM-S5600XG. Based on G-Shock’s compact 5600-series, the watch features rainbow vapour-deposited glass that creates shifting colours depending on the angle and lighting conditions. Casio says the design reflects XG’s “bold and genre-defying image”.

The second model, the GMA-S110XG, comes with a vibrant pink marbled finish inspired by 1990s R&B culture. The watch is based on the smaller GMA-S110, which combines analogue and digital displays within a chunky, layered case design.

Availability and pricing

The GM-S5600XG (S$229) and GMA-S110XG ($209) will be available from 11am on 12 June through the G-Shock Singapore online store and selected retail outlets, while stocks last.
