Brand New Day Trailer 2 Leaks

“Dr. Banner, you figured out a way to suppress mutating DNA right?” Peter asks. “If you see me without this, run!” Banner replies, making reference to his Hulk Inhibitor Device that keeps him as Bruce. (It’s believed this device gets damaged during the film, allowing Hulk to return for the first time since Avengers: Endgame.)

“Theoretically, could you get rid of the bad aspects, but keep the good?” Peter questions. “How would you decide,” Banner responds, “what parts of nature are good or bad?”

Other sections of the trailer featured more of Peter awkwardly interacting with MJ and Ned, who have forgotten his true identity, while another moment involves a character threatening Peter’s ex-girlfriend. Could this be Boomerang? A popular fan theory has suggested he is actually her new boyfriend’s secret identity.

“We’re faced with a threat we can’t control, one we can’t even see,” says someone that sounds like Tramell Tillman, who plays the head of the villainous Department of Damage Control. “You’re the only one who’s immune to it. You’re the only who can sense it.” Is this Peter being enlisted to bring down Sadie Sink’s character, who is capable of mind control?

Near the end of the trailer, we hear Peter say: “Okay, I didn’t know you could get that big.” Presumably that’s the moment he meets Hulk.

Fans expect Sony to release the trailer officially within the next week or so, ahead of Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s launch on July 31. Last month, Tom Holland suggested he wanted to eventually hand off the series to a new web slinger — potentially Miles Morales.
