While various telcos are making waves with new 10G broadband plans that start from less than $30 per month, M1 inclusive, you actually stand to gain more from their new refreshed lifestyle bundles once you do the math.
The headline grabber is the HomePac 10Gbps SharkNinja Bundle at S$49.90/month for 24 months, which throws in a Ninja CRISPi Portable Glass Air Fryer and a Shark EvoPower System FIT Cordless Vacuum, in addition to the broadband. M1 pegs the combined retail value of the two appliances at S$698.
If you don’t need the freebies and want raw bang-for-buck, the HomePac 6Gbps plan at S$27.90/month for 24 months is now M1’s cheapest entry into XGSPON territory, down from a usual price of S$95/month. That’s a 6Gbps symmetrical fibre connection for less than the price of a sit-down dinner at a hawker centre’s pricier stalls.
Both plans run on M1’s XGSPON network, which delivers true symmetrical download and upload speeds and supports the kind of multi-device load that current Singapore homes throw at their routers, from 4K streaming to cloud gaming to a houseful of smart devices.
