Positioned as Google’s smallest fitness tracker yet, the Fitbit Air adopts a screenless design to help users stay present and avoid constant distraction from notifications.
The tracker features a lightweight chassis made from recycled polycarbonate and PBT plastics, paired with a textile band and stainless steel buckle. Including the band, the Fitbit Air weighs just 12g.
Despite its minimalist approach, Google has equipped the Fitbit Air with a range of advanced health sensors, including an optical heart rate monitor, as well as red and infrared sensors. These enable the device to track metrics such as steps, calories burned, cardio load, sleep quality, heart rate, heart rate variability, and breathing rate.
