Minister of State Alvin Tan said in Parliament on May 5 that WP’s Jamus Lim’s account created an “unwarranted” impression that the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) was not thorough in its probe into a pet dog’s death. The investigations found no evidence of wrongdoing. In response, Lim said that it is his role to raise the concerns of the lived experience of his residents. “This is my job.
