Minister of State for Education Jasmin Lau addressed a question raised by NMP Kenneth Goh in Parliament on Apr. 8 on whether the Ministry of Education (MOE) will track and target indicators such as the socioeconomic status (SES) education performance gap. She said MOE “will continue to watch this trend and this indicator closely as part of a suite of overall indicators that [they] use when assessing overall educational outcomes for students”. Lau added that students in Singapore will have as much access to opportunities as possible, regardless of socioeconomic status. #mothershipparliament #tiktoksg #news #singapore
