Singapore is an amazing place. It’s relatively safe and stable, with people and food that are almost decent. However, it has one massive flaw: Singapore lies on the Equator and is surrounded by the sea. Even with its generous shade and shelter, it has a sweltering, sticky climate best described as Mother Earth’s luscious armpit.
Over at the Smart Home Tech Show, we’ve hunted down all manners of air circulation solutions to help beat the heat. It’s not only fans, but also air conditioners, fan purifiers, and other fixture combos that can give you a good blow. Some of the deals we found are compatible with leftover NEA Climate Vouchers, CDC Vouchers, and LifeSG credits. To help, we’ll indicate where applicable, below.
Don’t forget to catch all of our Smart Home Tech Show 2026 coverage at the Tech Show Portal where you’ll also find full brochure listings, reviews, guides, and more.
The Smart Home Tech Show is happening now at Suntec Convention Centre from 30 April to 3 May. Level 4 opens at 12 PM and closes at 9 PM. You can find directions to Suntec Convention Centre here.

Having a pocketable handheld fan helps round out your air-circulation arsenal by giving you flexibility and easy access to a quick blast, especially when you’re far from the comfort of your home.
The Aecooly Aero Ultra patches the gap with its 19,000 RPM speed, and it’s surprisingly quiet despite its wind output. You also get 4 standard fan modes and 3 turbo modes, and its 4,500mAh battery delivers up to 15 hours of battery life (self-claimed), while the booth assistant says it’s closer to 5 hours. The fan is also designed to accommodate hands-free cooling (see photo), so you can carry a tiny 170g standing fan in your bag at all times.
Aecooly Aero Ultra is now going at S$39.90 (down from its previous sticker price of S$49.90) at Techhouse, Booth 8008. Note that there are four colours available at the booth (Orange, Green, Grey, and Blue).
Caterpillar (CAT) fans, floor-standing and mounted
CAT, but fans.

A strong addition to this list is a tried-and-tested industrial brand known for its striking yellow-and-black livery. Caterpillar, better known for their CAT heavy-duty machinery, is also in the business of making standing or mounted fans for residential and consumer dwellings.
Options range from its 14-inch HVD-14AC drum fan (S$128, originally S$149) that can be wall-mounted or placed on the floor, to portable air movement machines like the B1200 (S$258, originally S$270). Folks with hardcore blowing needs can opt for their floor-standing, industrial drum air circulator, with the largest choice on the show floor being its 42-inch HVD-42AC (S$1,108, originally S$1,155).
Beyond the discounts, the booth is also throwing in a free Möwe Smart Socket (worth S$26) to smartify your CAT fans with any purchase (while stocks last). The socket adds Amazon Alexa and Google Home voice controls, along with automation and scheduling (via the iAppliance app) to an otherwise conventional fan. Additionally, purchases totalling above S$400 get you free delivery to your home.
Find the range of CAT fans displayed at Aerogaz, Booth 8228.
