Top Gaming and Telco deals from the Smart Home Tech Show 2025

The Smart Home Tech Show, which is ongoing now, focuses primarily on home appliances and smart devices. But that didn’t stop a few companies from showcasing their gaming wares. Additionally, I kept an eye out for any good telco deals that stood out to me (and hopefully, you).

Don’t forget to catch all of our Smart Home Tech Show coverage at the Tech Show Portal, where you’ll also find full brochure listings, reviews, guides, and more.

As a reminder, The Smart Home Tech Show 2025 is this weekend from 13 November to 16 November 2025 at Suntec Convention Centre. Level 3 will be open from 11 am, while Level 4 opens at 12 pm. Both levels close at 9 PM

One of the more affordable gaming laptops I spotted is the Acer Nitro V 16S. The model shown in the photo (ANV16S-41-R4XW) comes equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 GPU with 8GB of VRAM. It also features 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD, which should be enough for downloading a couple of games.

You can find the Acer Nitro V 16S Gaming Laptop at the Acer booth (308) on level 3 for S$1,599 (MSRP: S$2,099). However, a little bird told me that you can bargain with the promoter to get an additional S$100 discount and a free upgrade to 32GB of DDR5 memory for this specific model.

For Counter-Strike 2 fans, AOC has the AOC CS24A gaming monitor with a CS2-inspired black and gold design reminiscent of the AWP Dragon Lore.

The monitor features a 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, an absurd 610Hz refresh rate, and a 0.5ms (GtG) response time. Built on a TN panel, the display has a peak brightness of 350 nits and comes with support for gaming features like a built-in Dynamic Crosshair, Low Input Lag mode, Motion Blur Reduction settings, and more.

As for connectivity, there are two HDMI 2.1 ports, a single version 1.4 DisplayPort, four USB 3.2 ports, a headphone jack, and PiP/PbP support for multiple inputs.

You can find the CS24A gaming monitor from the AOC booth by CR Group (308) on level 3 for S$943 (MSRP: S$1,099)
