BAFTA Games Awards 2026 winners announced: the full list


The annual BAFTA Games Awards, the last of the Big Five ceremonies of the gaming awards season, revealed its winners on Friday, April 17, with a ceremony in London. Sandfall Interactive’s Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 walked away with another Game of the Year win, earning BAFTA’s Best Game award. This is only the second time a game has won all Big Five game awards; the other was Baldur’s Gate 3.

Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 won a total of three awards at the BAFTA Games Awards, including Best Debut and Performer in a Leading Role, which went to Maelle actor Jennifer English.

Going into the ceremony, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 had led the field with 12 nominations, including no less than four in the acting categories. Dispatch had nine nominations, Ghost of Yōtei had eight, Death Stranding 2 had seven, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle got six nods.
