If you’re looking for a tablet that’s nearly as light as a smartphone, Huawei’s new mini-tablet might be worth a consideration.
The company just launched the 8.8-inch Huawei MatePad Mini in Singapore, combining the core perks of a tablet (generous viewing) in a bag-friendly format.
Huawei MatePad Mini: 8.8 inches in one hand
Huawei MatePad Mini is light, thin, and almost palm-sized.

The MatePad Mini is 5.1mm thin at 260g, making it just 35-46g more than the OPPO Find N6, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, or Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. The tablet earns its “mini” namesake by being thinner than most standard phones and nearly as thin as an unfolded foldable handset.
