SINGAPORE – Flash floods may occur in Ubi Avenue 1 on the afternoon of Oct 17.
In a post on social media platform X at 2.47pm, national water agency PUB advised the public to avoid Ubi Avenue 1, from Ubi Avenue 2 to Ubi Road 3, for the next hour amid heavy rain in the area.
On Oct 16, the Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) said thundery showers are expected to continue across the island for the second half of October.
Daily maximum temperatures are likely to range between 32 deg C and 34 deg C on most days, MSS said.
On some rainy days, daily lows could dip to 23 deg C, it added.
