According to Jiemian News, diners said that the incident which happened in a Haidilao outlet in California, was largely seen as “just a bit of amusement”, with the restaurant ultimately responding by returning the robot to its post at the entrance. A source close to Haidilao told Jiemian News that the dancing robot was likely part of a trial run by individual outlets, with no current plans for a wider rollout. #mothershipabroad
