Revolut and Sqkii unveil new evolved #HuntTheMouse game with S million in prizes

Singapore’s treasure hunt game is back, and bolder than ever. From 16 October to 14 December 2025, #HuntTheMouse returns in partnership between Revolut and Sqkii, promising a massive S$1 million cash hunt across Singapore, with new inclusive categories and AI-assisted gameplay to lure both veteran hunters and newcomers.

In prior editions, #HuntTheMouse followed a formula: hidden “coins” scattered across Singapore, GPS maps, shrinking circles, and power-up mechanics. In the latest version, the organisers have introduced several new features to raise excitement and increase participation.

The Gold Coin prize pool stands at S$250,000, while 600 Silver Coins, ranging in value from S$500 to S$2,000 each, will be hidden progressively across locations.

In a move designed to widen the playing field, First-timers / Youth / Seniors reserves 400 Silver Coins worth S$500 each specifically for newcomers, youth, and senior participants.

The #IKWL (“I Know Where Liao”) prediction category adds an online element: players can submit guesses (based on hints) of where the Gold Coin is hidden. Up to ten players whose predictions are the earliest and within 20 meters can share a prize pool of up to S$250,000. Note that while the first three guesses are free, additional guesses may be subject to brand actions.

Meet Timii, the AI companion. For the first time in #HuntTheMouse, Timii is embedded in the game to guide players, offer hints, and help those unfamiliar with the game mechanics.

Enhancements have been made to some of the usual game mechanics. For example, the Circle Shrink, Coin Sonar, and Metal Detector return, but with refined ranges and feedback systems to make hunts more strategic and reactive.

Clues will go live three times daily on social media (Instagram, Facebook, Telegram) and on the real-time map at huntthemouse.sqkii.com, preserving the suspense and pace of the hunt.

With nearly 1 million participants in past editions and 79% of them spending about three hours per hunt, expectations are high for this iteration.

This isn’t just a game of speed and luck. With S$1 million up for grabs, the stakes are high, and the stakes attract all kinds of players — casual, competitive, tech-savvy, and exploratory. The organisers are also positioning the event as a way to:

  • Encourage Singaporeans to rediscover their neighbourhoods
  • Attract intergenerational play with reserved prizes for youth and seniors
  • Introduce AI guidance to reduce the barrier to entry for new players
  • To serve as more than just a prize, but more towards an experience
  • If you liked exploring your local blocks, walking routes you never did before, or chasing a hint in the late evening, this edition aims to make that thrill more widely accessible.
