Bungie’s new extraction shooter, Marathon, is finally here. Shortly after its launch on Thursday, Bungie announced that it plans to change the amount of in-game currency (called Lux) players earn when purchasing a $10 USD Lux bundle from the store.
“In the near future, we’re making an adjustment to the amount of LUX you get for the $10 (or regional equivalent) LUX bundle to grant 1120 LUX (1000 + 120), up from 1100 LUX (1000 + 100),” Bungie said in an article posed to X. “As a part of this whole process, we’ll be crediting 20 LUX to players for each $10 LUX bundle they purchased before this change occurred.”
The studio also announced that an update is in the works, set to arrive sometime next week. Bungie plans to release full patch notes when the update goes live, but in the meantime, the studio has revealed the following three changes, which will be included in the patch.
