Jetpack Cat’s been playable in Overwatch for several weeks now, and folks are starting to familiarize themselves with what she can and can’t do well. A good Jetpack Cat player is often annoying, but despite how challenging it is to land a shot on that tiny, fast-moving hitbox, she has a lot of counters. And as I found out, not all of them are other heroes.
A small handful of Overwatch maps include traffic, like Oasis, and one of Busan’s three control maps has a train. Normally, the cars and train carriages don’t matter. They’re mostly out of the way and not terribly dangerous unless you have a very specific accident or encounter a Lúcio who boops you at just the right time. So naturally, I never really considered the threat they pose to domestic animals. Until it was too late.
