Dyson has introduced the PencilWash, a new wet floor cleaner that follows last year’s PencilVac vacuum with a similar focus on compact design and manoeuvrability. The company is positioning it as a lightweight alternative to bulkier wet-cleaning machines, aimed particularly at smaller homes where space is more premium.
Weighing just over 2.2kg and built around a 38mm narrow handle, the PencilWash is noticeably slimmer than many traditional wet floor cleaners. Like the PencilVac, its low-profile body allows it to recline close to flat, which should make it easier to clean under sofas, beds and other low furniture without awkward repositioning.
