Several young anglers were caught fishing in a non-designated area at Sengkang Riverside Park on Feb 22.
Stomper P said the youths displayed “provocative” behaviour when he called them out.
P was passing by the park near Tenderbest, a Western food store, at around 4.50pm when he noticed three boys fishing at a spot where a ‘No Fishing’ sign was clearly displayed.
According to the Stomper, he and his companion pointed out the sign to the boys, but their advice was ignored.
“They made provocative gestures and refused to heed what we said,” he recounted.
Although he was unable to capture the “provocative” gestures on video, P said he did manage to film part of the encounter.
