While Dreame might be known for its robot vacuums, its recent appearance at CES showcased how its planning to expand its product catalogue to cover every room in the house, as the company pursues its idea of a whole-home ecosystem of smart appliances (and supercars, apparently).
One new area it plans to cover is laundry, specifically with its AI Laundry Robot and L9 AI Washer & Dryer Set.
The former is exactly what you think it is, if Dreame is to be believed. Much like its Cyber10 Ultra concept, the laundry robot has a bionic arm that allows it to sort and load laundry into the machine.
Enabling it is a “multimodal AI system” that can recognise visual, tactile and spatial information. This allows the robot to move around the house more effectively by detecting obstacles and mapping its environment in real time. It’ll also be capable of identifying fabrics and stains, and is capable of learning user habits over time.
