Who is KGM?
Though the name KGM (KG Mobility) might be new, the company’s roots go back further. Prior to KGM, it was known as SsangYong Motor Company – yes, the same company that made the, let’s say, visually distinctive Musso SUV. It was renamed in 2023 after it was acquired by the KG Group in 2022.

The Torres EVX is a midsize crossover SUV that goes up against the likes of Leapmotor’s C10 and Tesla’s Model Y. It’s a little over 4.7m long and features a large boot. Even with the rear seats up, KGM claims it has 703L of carrying capacity. Fold the rear seats down, and that expands to a whopping 1,662L.
