Pasir Ris Seashell Park: Sea Dragon Playground & More

Pasir Ris Seashell Park has just been refreshed with new amenities that include a cute sea dragon playground and a pet park! 

Pasir Ris Seashell Park: Hillside Park

Pasir Ris Seashell Park occupies a hill along Pasir Ris Drive 4. With various paths leading up, the park is a leafy green spot in the neighbourhood. 

It has just been upgraded and one of the new star amenities is the playground at the top of the hill. 

Pasir Ris Seashell Park Playground: The Sea Dragon

As you approach the Pasir Ris Seashell Park Playground, you will be greeted by the green, friendly face of a giant sea dragon, installed by playground specialist CT Art Creation.

The sea dragon playground stretches out for more than 15 metres and contains a variety of play elements for kids. 

At the sea dragon’s head, kids who stoop down will discover a secret – its mouth hides a tunnel for the littlest ones.  

The second segment of the sea dragon playground features its body. On one side, kids can climb up a ladder to reach the dragon’s back. There are two slides that kids can play with. One lead down on the other side while the other slide goes down along the dragon’s neck – so that kids can slide down just like Fred Flintstone. 

Besides taking the slides, kids can also go across a bridge to reach the dragon’s tail, which looks like it is looping out from the water like a sea serpent. 

This segment of the playground can also be reached by a set of climbing holds at the rear. 

Underneath the tail, there is a cargo net strung out for more climbing opportunities. 

A pair of swings is hung underneath the next segment of the sea dragon playground. 

Play Tower

Besides the Sea Dragon playground, Pasir Ris Seashell Park also has a play tower. 

Kids can enter in using a sailboat themed ladder at one side.

Other ways to reach the first level of the play tower include climbing rungs and a cargo net. 

Want to get back down? There is a curved open side. 

Alternatively, kids can make their way up one more level to the upper floor, where there is an entrance to a closed, curvey slide. 

The sea dragon and tower structures are suitable for older children. Parents, please watch over and supervise your kids while they are playing at the playground.  

Other Play Elements at the Marine-themed Playground at Pasir Ris Seashell Park

Besides the Sea Dragon and the Play Tower, there are other play elements found around the hilltop playground. 

Kids can enjoy a see-saw, go for a spin on a merry-go-round or catch the air on more swings. 

Amenities at Pasir Ris Seashell Park

The playground is not the only new amenity at Pasir Ris Seashell Park. Connected to the playground by a central pathway is a Multi-functional Public Space. 

A jogging track encircles the hill.

Dotted around the park, there are seashell shaped alcoves with adult fitness equipment, including one where users can adjust the amount of resistance weight.

Another amenity that pet lovers will appreciate is the Pet Park, which faces out towards Blocks 449 and 460.
