Samsung unveils 130-Inch Micro RGB TV with Timeless Frame and next-gen colour at CES 2026

Samsung Electronics has revealed its largest consumer television yet, the 130-inch Micro RGB TV (R95H), at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, marking a new milestone in ultra-premium display technology. The massive screen pairs Samsung’s most advanced Micro RGB innovations with a bold “Timeless Frame” design that positions the TV as both a visual centrepiece and a statement of engineering prowess in the living room.

At the heart of the 130-inch model is Micro RGB technology, an evolution of traditional LED-backlit LCD panels that uses arrays of microscopic red, green and blue LEDs for unprecedented colour precision and vibrancy. The display achieves 100 % BT.2020 wide-colour gamut, a benchmark for cinema-grade colour fidelity, and is certified for exacting colour reproduction. Powered by Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, Micro RGB Colour Booster Pro and Micro RGB HDR Pro, the TV processes images with enhanced contrast and detail, delivering lifelike realism across both bright and dark scenes.

Samsung’s proprietary Glare Free technology helps to reduce reflections, preserving contrast and colour clarity in real-world lighting conditions. The 130-inch panel also supports HDR10+ ADVANCED (which is meant to be the next-gen HDR10+ technology), and features integrated Eclipsa Audio to provide spatial sound that complements the vast screen size without needing extra speakers. Vision AI Companion, Samsung’s generative AI interface, brings smart features such as AI Football Mode Pro, AI Sound Controller Pro, interactive app support and Microsoft Copilot integration to the TV platform.

Where the 130-inch Micro RGB TV stands apart is not just its sheer scale, but its Timeless Frame design. Inspired by architectural windows, the TV’s refined border and minimalist aesthetic allow the display to feel more like a panoramic vista than a traditional television, intended to visually expand the room rather than dominate it. This approach underscores Samsung’s push to treat the TV as an artistic fixture as much as an entertainment centrepiece.

This flagship display is aimed squarely at enthusiasts of ultra-large screens and flagship performance, including homeowners with spacious living or media rooms who want a cinematic experience without stepping up to separate projector setups. Its combination of next-generation colour fidelity, impressive brightness, glare-reducing design and AI-enhanced features makes it especially appealing for sports fans, movie buffs and anyone seeking a premium in-home theatre setup. The scale and price of the 130-inch model suggest it will remain a high-end, showpiece offering, with Samsung’s broader Micro RGB lineup, spanning smaller sizes down to 55-inch, catering to more mainstream premium buyers.

Samsung will showcase the 130-inch Micro RGB TV throughout CES 2026, with wider global availability expected later in 2026. We will update you with pricing and availability when we receive more information.
