PC Gamers Have Only 24 Hours to Claim Epic Games Store’s Free Game for December 18
The Epic Games Store’s holiday giveaway is now in full swing, with PC gamers having only 24 hours to claim the newly launched December 18 freebie.
At the time of this writing, there are two free Steam games available. One, Toy Tinker Simulator, is free until December 21 at 12:00pm CST. The other, Rat Quest, is technically free until December 25 at 12:00pm CST. It’s entirely possible that even more games will be given away for free on Steam between now and the 21st and the 25th, and so PC gamers should keep an eye out for more opportunities to grow their digital libraries completely free of charge.
Steam Free Games Right Now
For those unfamiliar with the games, Toy Tinker Simulator is a simulation game where players are tasked with repairing toys. The theme of the game is perfect for the holiday season, though fans should note that it does have “Mixed” reviews on Steam. Still, you can’t beat free, and so anyone interested in Toy Tinker Simulator should definitely be sure to snag it while it’s still up for grabs.
The other free Steam game, Rat Quest, has “Positive” reviews and offers a much different experience. Rat Quest is a 2D platformer where the stakes are incredibly high because one misstep means starting back over. This kind of tough-as-nails platformer isn’t for everyone, but those looking for a challenge should definitely make sure to grab Rat Quest while they still can.
