Yeo was activated for the women’s 4x100m relay just 30 minutes before the start of the race. Levenia Sim, 19, was slated to swim the opening backstroke leg, but injured her shoulder during warm-up. As Yeo was on standby, the gear she swam with was not her own, according to The Straits Times. Yeo managed to clock a personal best of 1:04.79 despite the hiccups, thanking her seniors and teammates who encouraged her to swim her best. Photo by Team Singapore #tiktok #fyp #singapore #sgnews
