Google is finally updating its A-series earbuds after a five-year hiatus. There’s been a slight price increase, but the Google Pixel Buds 2a give back with a bevvy of fantastic upgrades.
Equipped with the same Tensor A1 chip that’s in Google’s flagship Pixel Buds Pro 2, the Pixel Buds 2a gets a nice boost in audio quality, with faster audio processing and the ability to run Google’s AI and Gemini features.

Google has also redesigned the stabiliser fin, now featuring a twist-to-adjust function that allows the earbuds to fit more snugly, depending on how far you twist them in your ears.
There’s IP54 sweat and water resistance, which is a noticeable upgrade from its predecessors.
