BenQ has unveiled its latest short-throw home entertainment projector, the TK705STi, a compact 4K projector engineered to bring big-screen immersion to smaller living spaces. Designed for modern apartments and HDB flats where room depth is limited, the new projector throws a 100-inch 4K image from just 1.8 metres, making it ideal for users who want a cinematic display without dedicating an entire room to a traditional projection setup.
The TK705STi arrives as part of BenQ’s continued push into lifestyle projectors, joining the brand’s expanding family of entertainment-focused models such as the X-series gaming projectors and portable GV lineup. Like these predecessors, the new model focuses on ease of use, vivid colour accuracy and the ability to replace or complement a living-room TV.

The projector delivers 4K UHD resolution at 3,000 ANSI lumens, powered by BenQ’s CinematicColor and HDR-PRO processing for improved contrast and shadow detail. It covers 98% of the Rec. 709 colour space, ensuring accurate hues whether you’re streaming movies, watching sports, or gaming. According to BenQ, the TK705STi supports screen sizes of up to 150 inches, giving users a dramatic upgrade from conventional TVs.
