Man Unhappy He Didn’t Get His Preferred Chicken Meal on SQ Flight, Netizens Say “Stop Complaining”

He went on to say he only ate a portion of the food because he had no appetite for the fish meal during breakfast and ended up having an upset stomach through the flight as he was hungry and unable to sleep.

He added that he did not know that being at the back of the plane would mean limited meal choices, and felt that Singapore Airlines should have anticipated the demand since they knew the passenger count in advance

“I know I was served a meal, but it was neither my choice nor did I have an appetite for a fish and horseradish for breakfast,” he wrote.

Online reactions were divided. A few sympathised with his disappointment, saying meal allocation should have been more evenly managed.

But others pointed out that passengers can pre-order special meals or pay for front-row seats for better meal access.

If he was thinking of getting a sympathetic crowd online, he was sorely disappointed, with most calling him entitled.

“That’s how it is. You always have the option to pre-order a special meal, especially if you are picky with food. Or you can pay to choose a seat in the front row, so you get first pick. It’s a plane, not a restaurant, so stop complaining,” read a comment.

A cheeky comment even added salt to the injury (or is it SQ’s?) and wrote, “Meanwhile, Emirates gave us Business Class steak when they ran out of our preferred meal”.
