The Battle Pass for the upcoming Fortnite season has been leaked, allowing players to get a first look at the Chapter 7 Season 1 skins. If there’s one thing that’s been on Fortnite players’ minds, it’s the launch of Chapter 7.
A chapter renewal is a huge deal in the Fortnite community, as it only happens once a year. While there have been 38 seasons of Fortnite (four of them special, mini-seasons), there have only been a total of seven chapters. Whenever there is a new chapter, Epic Games has to come up with a whole new Battle Royale island with various landmarks and named locations, add unique weapons and items, and introduce game-changing mechanics.
Fortnite Arcane Skins Are Finally Making a Comeback After Nearly 1,400 Days
Epic Games surprises players by revealing that Fortnite’s Arcane skins will be returning to the popular battle royale after nearly 1,400 days away.
Fortnite Leakers Reveal Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass
Despite the major changes that are inbound with the launch of Fortnite Chapter 7, it also means that a themed season will begin alongside it, initiating a brand-new storyline for lore-enthusiasts to follow. Players who are curious about the cosmetics that will kick off Season 1 should note that all of the skins in the first Battle Pass of Chapter 7 have leaked. As usual, the pass will include seven skins, which can be unlocked by leveling up, and a bonus skin that will most likely be released after a few weeks and will require players to complete themed quests.
When Does Chapter 7 Season 1 Begin?
According to the images shared by SpushFNBR, it appears that Kill Bill‘s The Bride could be the first reward in the Battle Pass. If so, players will receive the Uma Thurman skin as soon as they purchase the Battle Pass or claim their Fortnite Crew rewards. Marty McFly is another featured skin in the Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass, but it is unclear when players will be able to obtain him. It is not unusual for the bonus skin to be a collab skin, so it is likely that this will be the case. If confirmed, players will have to wait for a few weeks for the Marty McFly Quests to become available, making it possible for them to unlock the skin. Lastly, it looks like the astronaut with the golden helmet, featured in most Chapter 7 key art images, might be the hardest skin to get: the Level 100 skin.
Once the Zero Hour live event ends and downtime for Fortnite‘s patch v39.00 begins, more leaks will become available, as dataminers will continue to dig into the game files to provide curious fans some relief. It seems that Chapter 7 is bound to really mix things up. Even mechanics that have remained unchanged over the years are being modified for the first time. Rumors and leaks indicate that the Battle Bus will be destroyed – most likely during the event – and players will have to ride a tsunami wave onto the Battle Royale island, preventing them from reaching certain locations depending on where their wave spawns.
