Another day, another big personal mobility device (PMD) on the MRT.
Stomper Anthony was bewildered to see what he described as an “oversized two-seater PMD” on a North-South Line train.
He took pictures of a man riding the red personal mobility aid (PMA) on Nov 26 at 6.30am and shared the “clear photo evidence” in an email to Stomp, the Land Transport Authority, the Ministry of Transport and SMRT.
Anthony wrote: “The train was heading towards Marina Bay, while this PMD was seen remaining in the cabin after Yew Tee MRT station.
“Certainly the authorities would be well aware of the implications in allowing such non-compliant devices within the public transport network – without detection and interception.”
