Why we love her

Ahn’s career began on the stage in 2012, and she continued to appear in plays for several more years, although she was not confident in her abilities at first. But she persevered, gaining the strength and confidence to develop her craft.

She received positive notices for her role in the 2015 musical Infinite Energy, which ran until early 2016.

Ahn’s television career began two years later, after signing with an agency, and she immediately began to book roles. In 2019, she appeared in six series, including season one of the first Netflix Korea hit, Kingdom – she would return for season two the following year.

Ahn is also a major baseball fan. She supports the SSG Landers in Incheon and threw the ceremonial pitch for one of their games in 2023.
