Two drivers trapped in vehicles after chain collision in Sembawang; four people taken to hospital


SINGAPORE – Two people were trapped in their vehicles after a six-vehicle chain collision in Sembawang on the morning of Nov 14.

The police said they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Admiralty Road East and Deptford Road at around 6.50am.

The accident involved a motorcycle, a car, a van and three lorries.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said the drivers of a lorry and a van were found trapped in their seats, and were rescued using hydraulic rescue equipment.
