SINGAPORE – A 61-year-old man is helping with police investigations after CCTV footage emerged showing him reversing his car into an elderly woman in a housing estate near Ang Mo Kio.
In response to queries, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving a car and a pedestrian in Jalan Chengam – in Sembawang Hills Estate off Upper Thomson Road – at about 2.30pm.
The 77-year-old woman was conscious when she was taken to hospital. The Singapore Civil Defence Force said she was taken to Woodlands Health Campus.
