Hoyoverse is taking a break from saving the galaxy to give players a little one of their own. Petit Planet, its upcoming life simulation game, launches globally on 4 December for PC, iOS and Android. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is also in development, though we’ll to wait until 2027 for it
The premise of Petit Planet to make a small planet feel like home. Players can shape its landscape, decorate their house and welcome fuzzy neighbours, each with their own personalities and stories. There are the usual cosy side activities, too: farming, fishing, cooking and catching bugs. When you want a change of scenery, you can head out across the Starsea to visit other places and pick up materials.
If all of these sounds familiar to you, then you would have played Nintendo’s Animal Crossing series.
