Leica Marina Bay Sands 10th anniversary edition MP camera

Leica is marking the 10th anniversary of its Marina Bay Sands store with a limited-edition version of its MP film camera. Just 10 sets of the Leica MP “Leica Store Marina Bay Sands 10th Anniversary” Edition will be available, each paired with a Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH. lens.

The camera comes in a glossy black paint finish, silver chrome-finished controls and silver-filled engravings. What truly makes it stands out is its top plate, which comes engraved with the Marina Bay Sands towers and ArtScience Museum, and each camera is serialized (1 of 10, for example) on the hot shoe.

Leica says the design was developed with its teams in Wetzlar, Germany, from the initial concept in spring 2026 through technical development and testing over the summer. The edition is a tribute to the store, which opened in 2016, and to the photographers and collectors who have been part of its community.

This is not the first camera Leica has made for its MBS store though. When the store opened in 2016, Leica released a limited-edition M-P (Typ 240) “Marina Bay Sands” Edition, with 18 units made worldwide and sold exclusively at the store – which we also covered.

So it’s no surprise that the new anniversary edition is also exclusive to Leica Store Marina Bay Sands. It costs S$23,450, including GST.
