A private hire driver was caught on camera driving dangerously along the Central Expressway (CTE) towards the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) on Nov 1 at about 7.10pm.
In a 45-second video posted on Facebook groups SGRV and SG Road Vigilante, the Hyundai Avante can be seen cutting in and out of traffic, overtaking from the left, and weaving between lanes at high speed.
The post wrote that the driver was “driving recklessly at high speed and swerving on the CTE towards AYE near the Braddell exit”.
“At one point, the car abruptly cut from the exit lane across all lanes to the far-right overtaking lane in seconds, forcing multiple vehicles to brake hard to avoid a potentially fatal collision,” added the original post.
