The vast majority of Battlefield 6 players bought the game for multiplayer, but a surprising number have completed the single-player campaign as well. Battlefield 6 launched in October to a great deal of success, earning mostly positive reviews and proving to be a massive sales hit for EA. Hundreds of thousands of people continue to play Battlefield 6 on Steam daily, and there are ambitious plans for the game’s post-launch support.
Battlefield 6 has serious momentum behind it despite various controversies and criticisms it has faced, and it looks like EA is going to keep that momentum going strong. Battlefield 6 Season 1 added new maps and coincided with the debut of the game’s battle royale mode, and it will be exciting to see what 2026 has in store for the first-person shooter. But while fans are almost universally focused on the Battlefield 6 multiplayer experience, a surprising number have finished the single-player campaign as well.
Battlefield 6 Campaign Completion Rate by Platform

- 10.53% – Xbox
 - 9.4% – Steam
 - 9.3% – PS5

Many Battlefield 6 reviews criticized the single-player campaign as being the weak link of the game’s suite of modes, with a lackluster story and a general lack of originality. I called it “Battlefield-flavored Call of Duty” and came away largely unimpressed. Despite the criticism aimed at the campaign, many players have managed to finish it, with 9.3% on PS5, 9.4% on Steam, and 10.53% on Xbox earning the achievement/trophy for beating the campaign.
Now, 10% may not seem like a lot, but it’s honestly more than I expected. Take the Battlefield 1 achievement stats for example. According to Steam DB, only 6.5% of Battlefield 1 players managed to beat that game’s campaign on Normal difficulty. I expected Battlefield 6‘s campaign completion rate to be about the same, and I am very surprised that it’s close to 10% on PS5 and Steam and already in double digits on Xbox. For comparison, only 1.5% of Call of Duty players beat Black Ops 6‘s campaign on Steam. The 2022 Modern Warfare 2 reboot, which introduced the idea of a unified Call of Duty HQ and may be a better comparison, has a 5.8% completion rate. Keep in mind that it’s still not a 100% fair comparison because the Call of Duty umbrella is every player from the 2022 Modern Warfare 2 through the 2025 Black Ops 6, and that may be having a significant impact on the stats.
What makes this even more surprising is the fact that the Battlefield 6 battle royale is free-to-play, which had the potential to throw the game’s completion stats into chaos. Even though the Battlefield 6 BR can be played standalone, it is technically part of the BF6 ecosystem and its achievements are lumped in with the base game’s. This means that either the BR didn’t attract many people who didn’t already own Battlefield 6, or a lot more people that own the game decided to see the campaign through to the end than I would have guessed.
It’s worth noting that there are special Battlefield 6 rewards tied to the campaign, and so that could explain the higher-than-expected completion rate. But whatever the case may be, it will be interesting to see how Battlefield 6‘s achievement stats continue to fluctuate, especially as more players get their hands on the game.
