A 44-year-old South Korean was sentenced to three months’ jail after he secretly recorded his ex-girlfriend during intimate video calls without her consent.
He pleaded guilty to one of three charges involving the unauthorised recording of the woman and offences under the Films Act.
According to a report by Shin Min Daily News, he met his 45-year-old ex-girlfriend on Tinder in 2022, and they entered into a relationship.
When they were in different countries, they maintained their relationship through video calls.
During some of their video calls, they engaged in intimate conversations and activities.
She had repeatedly told him that she did not want to be recorded and asked him to confirm that he was not doing so.
