Twenty eight hawker centers across Singapore will close for one to four days for scheduled cleaning starting from Monday to maintain hygiene and cleanliness at the facilities.
The hawker centers include popular dining destinations such as Alexandra Village Food Centre, Maxwell Food Centre, Anchorvale Village Hawker Centre, Yuhua Market and Hawker Centre and Chong Pang Market and Food Centre, according to a list on Singapore’s National Environment Agency’s website.

Hawker centers are an integral part of Singaporean culture, offering affordable communal dining and a wide range of cuisines. These large, often open-air complexes house numerous stalls serving local and international dishes.
