Blizzard ended its BlizzCon 2026 Opening Ceremony with the announcement of World of Warcraft Forever.
This “Classic Plus” MMO is developed by the World of Warcraft Classic team, and is set during the first year of World of Warcraft. It features three new zones, several overhauled existing zones, and over 1,000 quests. Elsewhere, there are nine new dungeons and even a new race.
Blizzard showed off a cinematic for World of Warcraft Forever during the Opening Ceremony, confirming a release date for November 4.
