On the afternoon of October 25 local time, Li Qiang arrived at Singapore Changi Airport by chartered plane. Singaporean Minister for Digital Development and Information Josephine Teo and Chinese Ambassador to Singapore Cao Zhongming greeted Li Qiang at the airport.
Li Qiang said that over the past 35 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Singapore, bilateral relations have maintained a good momentum of development, with continuously deepening political mutual trust, fruitful outcomes in practical cooperation, and increasingly closer people-to-people and cultural exchanges, setting a model for mutual learning, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation.
Li Qiang pointed out that under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and Singaporean leaders, China-Singapore relations have advanced further in recent years, establishing the all-round high-quality future-oriented partnership. Cooperation in various fields has continued to deepen and become more substantive, bringing greater benefits to the peoples of both countries and making positive contributions to regional peace and development. China is willing to work with Singapore to strengthen the synergy of development strategies, comprehensively expand mutually beneficial cooperation, continue to work together on the path of modernization, and contribute more to upholding true multilateralism and promoting common development in the region.
